Now it’s going to take lots of fish to do anything.   If you’re low-skill, you’re going to catch the small fish.   They’ve usually done away with fishing trash.   you may be able to use small fish, however with the new procedure, you’ll need 20 small fish to do anything.   The normal sized fish are filet-able in lots of 10, and the huge ones in 5’s.   To put this in perspective, you have to get 10 of a quest item for the one daily fishing quest that looks to be in the game so far.   You need 20 small/10 regular/5 huge to procedure the fish to get the quest item, and so far I’ve never gotten all 10 quest things from fileting one batch. , I could like to have the activated when I switch to the fishing friend outfit, since it is a nice 10 minute buff that allows you to just walk on water and fish!  it looks like there are two parts to this.  One is hooking into the outfit change code so it uses the item if you have it in your stock.  The other is to use it again if you notice the timer on the buff is about to expire, since there’s no cooldown, so re-applying when casting, when the buff time gets less than 30 seconds or so looks easy enough same as applying a tempt if one isn’t present . To start off you talk to a fishing trainer to be granted the fishing profession as one of your minor tradeskills. Every character can learn fishing. Then you put the fishing capability on your hotbar and go to any water on occasion lava or acid! and press the capability button to cast your line. Nice work, I may have to jump in and give it a attempt for lols. I did TK to attempt for Ashes of Al’ar the other week and as a blood dk in pretty average dps gear I ignored all strats and just burnt away. The phase after weapons when they all come back to life got a bit dicey with the stuns but I managed to survive with self heals and a ghoul sacrifice I did be sure I killed them at reverse corners of the room to give myself some prep time after weapons but that was not really needed. I did die on my 1st try although caused by forgetting about the stacking debuf Kael puts out towards the end but once I evaded that all was good. (forums.whirlpool.net.au)
