RedRum Sportfishing, established at the Marina Cabo Plaza in Cabo San Lucas, offers a range of half- and full-day fishing charters on its fleet of vessels that vary from a 28-foot Californian to a 53-foot Viking. The charters concentrate in fishing for marlin, tuna, dorado, wahoo and sailfish. The trips include Penn and Shimano reels, custom-made rods and Ballyhood lures and bait. Each vessel offers a range of amenities ranging from the new fish-finding equipment and fighting chairs to free snacks, new fruit and juice. Fishing licenses and fish cleaning are available for an extra fee. (traveltips.usatoday.com)

Team WideOpenFish was out in the waters of Cabo San Lucas over the weekend. As far as fishing goes, it was a bit different for us because we were on vacation this time and not working the waters. We still managed to take some photos and videos of our trip. There are many charters and boats out there but if your looking for a full packaged trip, as well as lunches, fishing cleaning, and the packaging of your fish, RedRum Sportfishing is where you have to go. They have an experienced crew that will put you on the fish. If you have not fished out of Cabo San Lucas, here is what to expect on your trip. (wideopenfish.com)
We went through a timeshare presentation to get a deal on a fishing trip. It could have cost $280. 00 per person but due to timeshare presentation, we got the trip for $100. 00 for both of us. We had to purchase a fishing license which cost $13. 00 each. We also had to bring box lunches. Bait is $30. 00, however lures are usually used. I caught a 44 lb. Wahoo and the other couple on the ship caught a 200 lb marlin. The name of the ship was "Don Pancho". (tripadvisor.co.nz)

Bob, This is Sandy S. And we had a reservation at Villa La Estancia from July 16 & 20. I just want you to know how much I appreciate all the help and advice you gave me because our reservation and vacation was just fabulous. Our kids, grandchildren, and best friends joined us on the trip because we were celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. We all were impressed with the buildings, place, and employees of the Villa La Estancia. Your room selection for us was perfect. We enjoyed the shade in the morning as we set on the balcony for hours and enjoyed the dawn and view of the Sea of Cortez and Lands End. (destinationcabo.com)

Caused by Mexican law and guideline, all fish are to be cleaned at the filet station; we’re unable to do this on board as much as we’d favor to do so. The filet station is on the marina and will be your last stop before heading back to our office. As you may imagine the filet station charges a fee to clean the fish and it’s frequently random. Your Captain or Mate will walk you through this procedure, no worries. Once you’re done there, you’ re welcome to bring it back to our office to be sealed and frozen or we can recommend a local spot for you to get it cooked up. (cabofishingcharters.org)
