Being new to baitcasters I was really hesitant about what to purchase to get started. But after lots of shopping around, I was planning on picking up the medium/heavy Abu Garcia Silver or Black Max baitcast combo. Being a beginner with baitcasters, I was worried because this being sold as "professional" was something more than I could handle, however honestly I had no problems what so ever!  i bought this reel thinking it was going to be a decent little reel. I tried to fish A finesse worm but it felt like a brick. When i 1st had a fish on it, i thought it could be a 6 plus but ended up being barely a pound. Also do not let the picture fool you.
