Well this and I really enjoy it. This looks lots more stable than I first thought could be. The rod holds work well and I stay dry no issues. Does track pretty good and handles what waves I have encountered with no issues. The only flaw is the little clips that hold the bungee down some have snapped off. Recently bought the the Trailblazer 100 for the family. Nice kayak for beginners. Both my teenage daughter and wife find it simple to maneuver and it is light enough that they can unload from the car by themselves. Tracking leaves a little to be wanted given the length. But with a little practice this is easily corrected. For under $180 on sale this is great for an afternoon of fun with the family. We have tried it on slow moving streams and flat lakes so far. The kayak was a real surprise! I use it on a river and it handels great. It’s a little slow to turn in the rapids, however it’s also light weight, tracks nearly perfect, and really keeps good speed. The paddle is good enough and may be upgraded if needed. The kayak is well made and easily repaired if it were ever damaged. The storage could hold enough for a week's trip and it’s a comfy cockpit to sit in. I haven't paddled a kayak for about 2 years and after just 5 minutes in this one, it felt as if I'd used it for many years!! I wasn’t tired or sore after 3 hrs. I could look at the old town trip angler from dicks sporting products. yes it’s a fishing yak, however hear me out the trip angler is depending on the Old Town vapor kayak, except it has a nice storage compartment in the stern of the ship. It has a nice big open cockpit which could suit you for bringing a small to medium sized dog along. The seat is super comfy and easy to change on the fly, which is really nice when you’re paddling all day. The hull form is excellent, it’s fast for a 10' ship.
