Tidioute, PA is the home of the Pennsylvania State Championship Fishing Tournament PSCFT . A fun filled weekend is planned every year on the last full weekend in September with actions for all ages. While the catch and release fishing contest is the star of the show complete with cash awards and prizes, there’s also a kids fishing derby with trophies given for first, 2nd, and third place winners and bicycle raffle, a parade with judging and trophies, bicycle give a ways, carnival rides, fireworks, lots of food and many raffles. A big parade with the theme of Old Time Rock N’ Roll will begin with the line-up and registration in front of the firehall on major Street from 9 a. M. To 11:30 a. M. Mrs. Crosby was the last living member of her direct family. She graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1929. She worked as a secretary at Sylvania and afterward at Emporium Hardware. In May 1961 she and Ivan moved to Paris, Tennessee, where she worked at the Hotel in Paris Landing, TN. She returned to Emporium, PA in 1997. Lillian enjoyed making quilts, hook rugs and gardening.
