I use . Works good, a black light is a black light to me. I have not tried the costly LED lights, may be nice if they did not draw as many bugs, however not sure if that’s the case. I use the stren flourescent line. Yes, you do need the flourescent line, you can not see just regular line with the black light, however since you were used to no black light at all it may not be as most of a big deal, however if you are wanting to get the benefit of using a black light then I could use a flourescent line. It definintely makes a big difference for me and I do not believe it hinders the fishing at all. (forums.ozarkanglers.com)
Cosmic rays constitute a small percentage of the yearly radiation contact of human beings on the Earth, averaging 0. 39 mSv out of a total of 3 mSv per year 13 of total background for the Earth’s population. But, the background radiation from cosmic rays increases with altitude, from 0. 3 mSv per year for sea-level regions to 1. 0 mSv per year for higher-altitude cities, raising cosmic radiation contact to a quarter of total background radiation contact for populations of said cities. Airline crews flying long distance high-altitude routes may be exposed to 2. 2 mSv of extra radiation yearly caused by cosmic rays, almost doubling their total ionizing radiation contact.
