A total of 145 nets were set during the river, but not all of these nets were set overnight caused by concerns related with high water goes. A total of 3 Lake Sturgeon were captured and radio tagged, bringing the total number of radio tagged Lake Sturgeon in the Michipicoten River system to 6 persons. Yeah I was aware jason Thanks tho. I was just spit ballin with my partner on the center hook rap thing, athough with this rig I doubt I could run double raps. Maybe three single hooks rigged with a gulp minnow on each, with no drop back and a longer live bait or spinner rig, possibly small spoon single hook w/bait a foot or two back. HMMMM so many alternatives to think about till the may opener with only some weeks before our 1st NOWT tourney june first. Hope I make it darned warm weather gave me the itch, then diappeared. Haha.
