Lake Loch Lomond Arkansas Fishing Report

Thanks for Fins. We’re guests at a resort there and I’ll be buying temporary ship registration for the week. Per the Lake use fee document, guests with this registration don’t have to pay the Lake Use Fee. See the excerpt below from that document. If I’m not understanding this document properly, let me know, however the people at the resort told me the same thing so I hope this is correct. We’ll be paying for the motorized weekly permit, and we’ll be using Arkansas fishing licenses. If I were a property owner there I would not be happy with every Tom, Dick, or Harry coming in and using the lakes that I paid POA fees to use and upkeep so I’m not one to violate the rules. Class B mentions Cooper Industries, Inc, the land developer, who gets 10 votes per lot owned and Class A mentions lot private lot buyers who get one vote per lot owned. If we had to pick a favorite, Lake Loch Lomond may be it. Lake Loch Lomond is the biggest in the neighborhood and offers the lake lifestyle many need when searching for homes around us. The lake is perfect for fishing, skiing, boating and tubing and has a big marina. This lake sits in the center of The Highlands in Bella Vista and offers some number of ship launches. Is another loch a bit more north in the Trossachs and situated near the villages of Callander to the South and Strathyre to the north. There you may be able to fish for brown trout, sea trout, char, salmon and perch. But, Sunday fishing isn’t allowed. Fishing is allowed from the bank with bait, fly and spinning. Fort William 1st Nation FWFN has recently settled a 160 year old land assert, and part of that land assert agreement was that the 1st Nation received Pie Island back from the City of Thunder Bay. It’s on this undeveloped island that Perch Lake is. 25 of Loch Lomond Lake is situated on 1st Nation land and is a main source for recreational and subsistence fishing. Up till 2008, it was the supply of clean drinking water for the City of Thunder Bay. These two inland lakes are utilized usually by community members. (aofrc.org)
