Gladiator Titan 6500 Fishing Reel Reviews

I had a Gladiator XOSkeleton that’s rated at 24-37kg. I was fishing this set up to it s full possible. The 1st few kings of the day were only rats of around the 4-5kg mark and they couldn t budge the Titans drag at 12kg, so I had to back it way off as I was skull dragging them to the surface. This gave me a great indication of the Titans crank capability under load; it was smooth and had power to boot. It also showed no flex in the frame under load and that the reel was ergonomically intended and comfy to retrieve with under pressure. We moved on in search of bigger kings and managed to find a patch that were more around the 8-10kg mark, I d say the drag was at around 6-8kg now so I got to experience the line peeling off the spool as the kings made their initial smoking run. Ok so we bought 2 kingpins as early as they came out as they seemed to be a good reel for your dollar but we were wrong! Now we took them out for the 1st time jigging for sambos, had some number of hookups on each and were firstly wrapped with the performance. The drag was super smooth, they felt good to use and they landed some big fish, but they clearly have a design fault. As you may be able to see in the picture the reel stem snapped clean off from the major body of the reel!! On reel one this happened after 5 fish and on reel two after only 4 fish. One reel you could put down to a monday build but two reels is more than a coincidence particularly at the same spot! clearly a weak spot in the reel and i hope that banax recall these reels and fix the problem.
