Ryan, I have been fishing in a Frabill Ranger XL Twin for the past 3 years and a Fish Trap Pro. The Frabill looks heavy but I typically drag lots of gear along and I am typically pulling it with either my ATV or snowmobile. The fabric Arctic Armor is a woven fabric and performs better in the high wind conditions that Lake of the Woods or Upper Red have presented. If your ever in Cabela’s at Owatonna compare the fabric by looking through the fabric towards fluorescent lighting. Density and design of the fabrics may be seen in a whole new light. I have my second Hideout now. I gave my old one to my boy. My buddie has one too. I think the zippers in the new ones are better than the old ones but my buddie found what is most likely a temporary solution to the zipper problem. He took some needle nose pliers and pinched ever so somewhat the zipper part with the toggle on it that you pull up or down, together. This seemed to correct the problem for him. He warns although that if you do it, do not over pinch it as you may not be able to use the zipper again. May help for you zipper plagued ones. (iowasportsman.com)
