Approaching the end of the walk we go through The Teardrop Lakes Park, a string of four lakes that are part of the Loughton Valley. The Teardrop Lakes are an important part of the city’s complementary lake system, able to take storm waters to prevent flooding of housing regions. After 40imins a bite a bite and a 3lb Mirror Carp was in the net. I have decided to give the 5m a go, a bite but it was a 2lb eel. Things weren t looking good, nearly 2 hours up and 5lb in the net. Ok I thought, lets give the stinky stuff a bash, so I covered the pellet feeder baited up and cast the feeder across, no sooner had I put the rod down it was flying off the rest! Great I thought, maybe I have a chance, however who knows. The Carp were queing up afrer that and I caught all the way through to the last whistle, spraying the pellet feeder every 3 chucks. ‘Something that I feel says allot about me are my tattoos. I generally take ages to choose on one. My 1st tattoos were the swallows on my hips, following that I then had my leg corseting done. I found it ironic at the time as I had no piercings but loved corsets. The pirate sleeve embodies the more mischievous side of my personality, the female character depicted I really drew when I was 16! My fox sleeve was drawn and planned in college when researching japanese mythology and has only recently been made in tattoo form.
