Between end of the year actions, hunting, and life events the fishing reports have been neglected! With warmer than average water temperatures, it has taken longer than average for water temperatures to drop and the fishing to pick up consequently! We have been catching lots of trout, an sporadic perch, and salmon snagging opened today! Goes were increased last week to 6, 500 cfs. With record snowfall this winter, expect goes to be above normal all spring. Water conditions are clear all the way to the confluence with Soap Creek. Patterns producing fish have been San Juan worms size 4-8 in red or fluorescent orange trailed with a sowbug pattern. In a report on difficulties with the city sign code and efforts to change it, community development Director Heather Hansen cites a Sportsman’s Warehouse sign ask for example of the problem.
