McCoy Extra Clear – This could be my number one line is it was made more available, Strong, attrition tolerant with low stretch, it’s close to fluorocarbon in clearness but handles lots better. The one problem is that it’s hard to find in filler spools as I do not generally want a mini bulk spool because I do not like having it stored a long time. Big Game is cheap enough that I can purchase a mini bulk and change line every couple of trips and what I do not use I recycle. If you feel you will use a mini bulk without waste, this is the stuff, a bit more money but it’s the best mono you may be able to get, I really believe that. (bassresource.com)
