On the 2nd of June 2012 i was fishing at my local syndicate lake on the Isle of Wight. After a couple of hours i landed five carp ranging from 7lb to 13. 5lb.   After two or three hours i hadn’t had a bleep on my bite alarm and i was debating if to re-bait or not, which was till i had a screaming take and i rushed out of my bench – i wasn’t to know this fight could last 25 mins. After, 20 mins i 1st saw this scrapper and my knees started to shake it was the fish another angler told me gave him the best fight of his fishing life. I landed the fish and was overjoyed. On Monday the 21st may we went on a fishing trip to Flaxlands private lake with Nova Hreod School. Throughout the time there we met 4 different people 3 were from a shop called Hinders, good at fishing. There names were Steve good at fishing Shaun also good at fishing and Dominic who is good at fishing and has his own you tube channel on fishing . We were taken by our helper head teacher Mr Berry who is skilful with fishing. We also met Nigel from Korum who gave us free booklets and DVDs on fishing. The lake and the trip I didn’t think was going to be that good but when I got there I was gob smacked at the new smell of the freshwater and the perfect grass the toilets were in great condition, we got a free hot chocolate it was great to start off with but then it got better when I started setting up my pole rod my maggots and my hook.
