The Bic Sport Bilbao is a fun kayak. It is stable and tracks straighter than other kayaks I have tried in this size range Mainstream Jazz, Wilderness Systems Riot, Ocean Kayak Scrambler . We have had it on different lakes and took it out on open ocean off Long Beach, CA, last weekend. It performed quite well in pretty choppy surf with 2-4 foot swells and a pronounced rip current. It is comfy, amazingly fast, and responds quickly to different paddle strokes. I’d recommend the Bilbao to anybody looking for a fun, light-weight, good tracking and fast little kayak. Its direct the Frenzy or Prowler. They are also  able boats but the cockpit of the Bic definately feels roomier and better suited to a bigger paddler or to carrying another passenger. I could say that if you’re probably to travel really big distances on your kayak then the OK Prowler or the Bic Scappa could be far better alternatives as the both glide far better than the Bilbao, however they’re costly and more uncomfortable to manage when out of the water. The OK Frenzy looses out a little to the Bilbao by stability, which isn’t nessecerally a bad thing. (ebay.com)
