Capt Miles little boy out for a Hilton Head charter trip that was "top notch". My 3 year old can't stop discussing it. We went on a inshore trip and caught red fish, black drum, and big SHEEP HEAD. South Carolina and three other states will end a moratorium on Red Snapper fishing that was continuing since 2010 in the hopes that recreational anglers will give carcasses of the well-liked fish for a study. One of the fish collection sites will be here on Hilton Head Island at the Skull Creek Boathouse. There won’t be any size limitations on catches this weekend. The moratorium will be lifted only for a restricted time — Friday through Sunday — in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. In this 2005 file photo, a biologist with the Waddell Mariculture Center, front, and and intern release cobia reared at the center into the Colleton River at the H. E. Trask Sr. Ship landing. The fish were the last of the almost 2, 000 cobia hatched at the center and released into the river. Last week, Packet columnist and fisherman, Collins Doughtie, with others he enlisted, caught a male and female cobia and brought them to the center for them to use as brood fish. (islandpacket.com)

My adult family and I stayed the week of May 30th and had a great time. The condo accommodated our group nicely. Everyone had there own space and the updates and features were great. We could get to the beach in less than two minutes and the pool was just across the street. We enjoyed biking to extra, two great rounds of golf on Palmetto Dunes Trent Jones and Fazio Courses that were just around the corner. Big Bamboo for Reggae on Saturdays was lots of fun.
