I took my young 70yr old parents and my girlfriend, we’re in our 30’s fishing for the 1st time in Cabo last November on Thanksgiving. We took out the Valarie with Captain Roberto and his right hand man Rosendo both were great. They’re laid back, not in your face kind of guys. But don’t get me wrong, they’re on it when it comes to the fishing. All 4 of us brought in a Marlin, which was a blast. We also kept 2 smaller Durado for dinner. If you wait till the day you’re fishing and go to the dock where your ship is many times people will mislead you to another ship or dock trying to put you on a ship that wasn’t meant for you. I have been spoiled over the last few years, and have had the chance to fish in some unbelievable places. Some years ago I had the great pleasure to fish in Alaska for both salmon and halibut. Salmon spawn in unbelievable numbers, and when they spawn, whole cities in Alaska shut down and everyone it looks is out fishing.
